Matthias KnechtDr. Matthias Knecht is co-founder and CEO of Zencap, Germany’s first online marketplace for corporate loans. From 2008 to 2014, Matthias was a consultant with McKinsey & Company focusing on the banking and insurance sector. Together with his fellow McKinsey colleague, Dr. Christian Grobe, he founded Zencap – the fastest growing lending marketplace in Continental Europe. Via Zencap SMEs receive access to loans while investors earn on attractive yields. Matthias graduated with highest distinction from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Industrial Engineering). He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Nuremberg and was a research scholar to Columbia Business School.
